Video: Behold Bohol campaign

The Bohol Provincial Tourism Council, Inc. has just come up with their new campaign video, "Behold Bohol". The moment I saw it, I was in awe and I thought I should take pride to help in this campaign, with no strings attached.

Needless to say, Bohol holds a very special place in my heart. One can just rummage through this blog how much I have written about Bohol.

This video featuring the Loboc Children's Choir with their chanting game me goosebumps. Lending their angelic voice to the entire production truly represented the heart and soul of Bohol. Not to mention the images of jaw-dropping spectacle, and the mix of old and new attractions in Bohol lives up to the expectations about Bohol rising from the rubbles when a powerful earthquake struck this beautiful island last October 15, 2013.

It has been three years and I see this video as a fitting tribute to its gentle but resilient people rising from the rubbles, the natural and man-made wonders that make Bohol a prime travel destination in the Philippines.

I must say, Bohol has risen once again!

Watch the video for you to hanker to go back to Bohol again!

The Pinoy Explorer

Aside from my day job, I love photography and storytelling. Going places--be it a cliche destination or the far side of the road--stoke and free my soul. I dig deeper into the people’s psyche, culture and ethnicity, and heritage. I love to observe how they thrive and build social institutions, preserve their culture and traditions.
